The Villa

The Villa is newly built.  It has a swimming pool with a large patio area to the front in a small well maintained garden with a traditional Greek Barbeque set in the garden.  The patio is equipped with director style table and chairs and sun loungers to enjoy your time around the pool.   It comfortably sleeps 6, has air-conditioning, and a fully fitted kitchen.  To the rear of the Villa is a  courtyard area,  accessed through the master bedroom, which will eventually have a hot tub or Jacuzzi .

The lounge is  spacious and tastefully furnished  by the developer.  Entertainment at the villa, should you find the need, comprises satellite TV, DVD player and CD player with Radio.  For your use we have provided a number of films on DVD and a catholic choice of music CDs.  A small selection of books is also provided which you can add to if you wish by leaving behind  any books you brought with you to read on holiday.  Obviously the DVDs, CDs and  books are  our own  and we would like to keep them, so please use them as much as you like but leave them behind for our next guests and us to enjoy later.  The Satellite TV has 700+ channels some of which are unavailable and the majority of which are not in English. Other than Music channels we found only a few which were worth a look.

The full size kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, Juicer, George Foreman grill, Panini maker, coffee maker and washing machine.  So you no longer have to go home to face all that dirty washing  and can limit the number of clothes you take on holiday if you wish.   We  have provided a full set of crockery, cutlery, pots & pans, kitchen utensils and a roasting dish  as well as glasses for drinks.  You will therefore be able to cook a Sunday Roast should you feel the need(?) to do so.  When you arrive you will find the fridge is stocked with bottled water, beer and a couple of bottles of wine.  We have done this because  we thought it would be a most welcomed service to our guests. I hope you will feel the same and will replenish the stock for the next guests when you leave.  The dining table seats 6 and has protective placemats and drinks mats but we expect you would prefer to use the occasional tables and chairs on the patio whilst dining alfresco at breakfast or in the evening sun

The main sleeping accommodation comprising the  master double bedroom and the 'guest' twin bedded room are found in the lower level of the villa and opens out onto the rear courtyard.   The location of the bedrooms mean that they are cooler in the evening and night time which can be a real bonus.  The main bedrooms have fully fitted wardrobes with clothes  hangers provided and bed side tables.  A travelling cot is available should you require one for the very young children. The third bedroom with twin beds is on the mezzanine floor leading to the  large sun roof terrace which has a sea view and is accessed by stairs in the lounge.  The Terrace is an ideal sun trap for those sun lovers who want a deep tan but beware of the obvious effects of too much sun  because the terrace really is a sun trap.

The Villa is looked after for us by Graham who live a couple of yards away.  Graham owns the villa next door and therefore is conscious of what a guests wants and needs on holiday ie peace of mind. He not only looks after the villa for us but welcomes guests when they arrive and show them around the villa showing you how everything works.  He will also be happy to answer any questions you might have concerning the villa and your stay on the Island.
